Each piece begins with an original pottery sherd, surface collected in the Laguna Pueblo region. It's form and painted design become the inspiration for a single piece of hand-fabricated sterling silver jewelry.
Only one piece of jewelry is ever created from each sherd.
The original pottery is never altered or sold. Once the silver piece of jewelry has found its collector, the sherd is returned to the place where it was found and respectfully returned to the earth.

A photograph of the original sherd accompanies the finished piece, preserving the connection between the ancestral design and its contemporary translation in silver.
