From Sherd to Silver



Each piece begins with an original pottery sherd. its shape, curvature and painted design become the guide for a single piece of hand-fabricated sterling silver jewelry.



The PROCESS



The ancient pottery sherds are translated using an overlay technique



the process



once the cut-outs are made, the jewelry pieces are:

soldered

stippled with an engraver

Curved to match the original sherd

Each piece of jewelry is buffed out with steel wool
